Overview:
Song Duong Water Plant is the fresh water supply project which has the largest scale in Northern area. When coming into operation, Song Duong Water Plant will supply fresh water source for 1/3 of Hanoi population which is gradually replacing underground water source with high pollution risk.
Total investment capital for Phase 1 is 5 billon dongs, including two main parts: Intake work and raw water pumping station. The plant is planned in 62 hectares at Phu Dong commune and Trung Mau commune (Gia Lam district) and freshwater pipeline with its 76km length located in Gia Lam district; Long Bien district; Soc Son district; Dong Anh district, Hoang Mai district, Thanh Tri district and Hung Yen province.
